What we collect
When you submit an inquiry form, we collect:
- Name, work email, organization, and any role or organization-type values you supply.
- The websites you ask us to evaluate and any details you choose to share.
- For RFP and procurement inquiries: deadline and procurement vehicle, if supplied.
- For partner applications: partnership interest you supply.
- UTM parameters from the page URL and the page path that submitted the form.
- A SHA-256 hash of your IP address (not the raw IP) for abuse forensics, plus your browser user-agent string.
How we use it
- To respond to your inquiry within one business day.
- To prioritize and route your inquiry to the right person on our team.
- To analyze the volume and source of inquiries so we can improve the site.
How long we keep it
Inquiry records are retained for the duration of our active sales or partnership conversation and for a reasonable period afterward consistent with our records-retention practice. Specific retention periods will be finalized in the legal-reviewed version of this policy. You can request deletion at any time using the contact below.
Third-party processors
- Postmark — transactional email delivery for inquiry notifications.
- PostHog — product and marketing analytics. PostHog runs with anonymized event capture; we do not associate analytics events with personally identifying inquiry data on the marketing site.
- Our hosting and database provider — application hosting (Railway) and Postgres.
Cookies and analytics
We use a minimal set of cookies required to operate the site (including theme preference) and PostHog for analytics. We do not run third-party advertising trackers on this site.
Your rights
You can request a copy of the data we hold about you, request correction, or request deletion. To exercise these rights, email mark@contextualcode.com.
